Here & Now began at WBUR in 1997, and expanded to two hours in partnership with NPR in 2013. After that its podcast stream was replaced by a smaller selection of current news stories, roughly 30 minutes per day ( 1⁄ 3 of the entire program), along with some occasional longer in-depth stories, and rebranded "Here & Now Anytime." The complete daily show is still being broadcast on radio and can also be accessed on WBUR's website. The entire program was available as a podcast until September 16, 2022.
